P/T Weekend Female HHA/CNA wanted ASAP! (Forest Hills)

Hello, my name is Faith and I am a 36-year old professional female with a physical disability. I am currently looking for a part-time female home health aide on the weekends to start ASAP!! The hours are as follows:

SATURDAY:
8.45am - 9:45am: Getting out of bed, showering, dressing, hair and makeup.
2pm-2:30pm: Using the bathroom.
11:pm-11:30pm: Getting ready for bed

SUNDAY:
9am - 10am: Getting out of bed, showering, dressing, hair and makeup.
2pm-2:30pm: Using the bathroom.
10pm-10:45pm: Showering and getting ready for bed

In general, the schedule stays the same, but once in awhile, I may need some flexibility to change the times.

1. You MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT. I weigh about 175 lbs and you will be doing a 2-person transfer with my husband to transfer me from my wheelchair/bed to my commode chair and then back to my wheelchair/bed.

2. You MUST BE RELIABLE. Please remember, I am relying on you to be able to get out of bed and use the bathroom. So, if you are late or don't show up, that means I can't get up and use the bathroom.

3. You MUST SPEAK ENGLISH.

4. You must be PCA, CNA, or HHA Certified. If you are not certified, please do not bother contacting me about this position as my insurance company will not allow me to hire anyone that is not certified.

Once again, this is a P/T position only. You will get paid for 5 hours of work each day ( 10 hours/weekend at $18.00/hour; Total is= $180.00/weekend on the books). Because you will need to come back and forth and only be here for a short time for each shift, it is probably better if you live close by. I live in Forest Hills, Queens (near the E & F train). If you drive, please make sure you allow yourself extra time to find parking.

If you are interested in this position, please send me an e-mail by responding to this ad. A resume is not necessary, but please tell me a little about yourself and your experience and INCLUDE A PHONE NUMBER where you can be reached during the day to further discuss the position. If hired, I will need to submit a copy of your PCA/CNA/HHA certificate as well as your SSN (for tax purposes) to my insurance company, so if you do not have a copy of your certificate, please do not apply.

The position will start ASAP so I would like to start interviewing people ASAP. Thanks for reading this and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
