Patient Care Tech (CNA) @ Bishop Drumm Care Center (Johnston, IA)

Supports the professional clinical staff by providing direct patient care and performing studies and tests as assigned by the physician or RN. These duties may vary by shirt or may be unit-specific. the technician is responsible for providing care for patients of diverse ages.

Applicant must have completed a 75 hour, 120 hour, or 150 hour Certified Nursing Assistant program. A graduate of an accredited RN program may be substituted for the completion of CNA program and CNA Registry. A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicant must be 18 years of age or older. Within three (3) months of hire, the employee will be required to provide proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter-Child and/or Dependent Adult Abuse training. The new employee will be required to be BLS (Basic Life Support) certified by the end of the orientation period (approximately six (6) weeks).
